The Magic of Small Bravery

We often imagine bravery as something loud and dramatic. A leap. A battle. A grand declaration.

But the bravery at the heart of The Wobbly Stone Quest is quieter than that.

It lives in moments like: • trying again after a stumble • listening to your inner voice • choosing kindness when fear would be easier

While writing, I paid close attention to the pauses between action — the reflective spaces where a character hesitates, wonders, and gently gathers courage.

Those spaces matter. They mirror the inner worlds of children who are learning that it’s okay not to have all the answers.

The quest isn’t about conquering the stone. It’s about understanding it. And in doing so, understanding yourself.
