Some dreams arrive loudly, bursting into our lives with certainty and excitement.
Others are quieter.
They arrive softly, linger for a while, and then — for reasons we don’t always understand — they drift away. Not gone. Just waiting.
As I was writing The Library of Forgotten Dreams, I kept returning to this idea: what if the dreams we leave behind don’t disappear at all? What if they simply wait until we’re ready to carry them again?
In the story, the Library doesn’t appear to everyone. It reveals itself only when a young dreamer is brave enough — not fearless, just open — to step through a mysterious door. Inside, forgotten dreams glow patiently on shelves, untouched by time or judgement.
This idea mirrors something many children (and adults) experience in real life. Sometimes we’re not ready for a dream yet. We might need to grow a little. Rest a little. Learn something about ourselves first.
And that’s okay.
Dreams aren’t tests to pass or goals to rush toward. They’re companions — and the best ones understand timing.

For children especially, this gentle reassurance matters. It tells them they don’t need to hurry, compete, or prove anything. Their hopes are allowed to unfold at their own pace.
That quiet understanding is at the heart of The Library of Forgotten Dreams — a story about courage, patience, and trusting that nothing truly magical is ever lost.
A gentle question to ponder:
